Seymour police warn drivers to park vehicles the right way

Seymour police are going to be looking for cars parked the wrong way on city streets.

According to the Seymour Police Department, under Indiana code vehicles parked on city streets must be on the right side of the roadway, with wheels parallel to and within 12 inches of the curb. That is unless angled parking is available.

Police will be placing a reminder on offending vehicles warning that the vehicle is parked in the wrong direction and encouraging people to park the correct way to help keep traffic moving safely and the streets accessible.
