State Police: Seymour couple accused of child molesting

A Seymour couple has been arrested, accused of child molesting.

According to the Indiana State Police, the investigation began two weeks ago when the Indiana Department of Child Services alerted troopers to allegations of abuse that happened to a child in Jackson County. Police say the investigation revealed that 30-year-old Farron J. Dyer and 29-year-old Raven N. Dyer allegedly molested and battered the child.

Both were arrested on Wednesday on preliminary charges of child molesting, sexual misconduct with a minor, neglect of a dependent and battery.

The investigation is ongoing.
