Talking Tombstones event returning to Columbus cemetery

The Bartholomew County Historical Society is planning for this year’s Talking Tombstones event next month at the old city cemetery in Columbus.

Talking Tombstones feature actors taking on roles portraying notable Columbus residents laid to rest in City Cemetery. This year’s event will feature more than 20 locations.

The city cemetery is just south of Donner Park. Entrances to the cemetery are at 16th and 19th streets.

Refreshments provided by Grin and Cluck will be available for purchase.

It will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday May 8th.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the night of the event. You can buy advance tickets at the Bartholomew County Historical Society museum on Third Street, at Viewpoint Books or the Columbus Area Visitors Center. You can get them online through Eventbrite and find the link on our website. Tickets will also be available for sale at the event.
