Three arrested in North Vernon drug investigation

Three people were arrested recently in North Vernon on drug related charges after a search of a home.

The North Vernon Police Department announced last week that investigators with the narcotics task force served a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Long Street after they received a tip about illegal narcotics activity. They recovered drug related paraphernalia including a mirror covered in a white residue, glass smoking devices, cut straws, hypodermic needles and containers and a baggie containing a white crystal material believed to be methamphetamine.

69-year-old Deborah K. Reynolds and 44-year-old Reggie D. Washam, both of North Vernon, are facing felony charges of maintaining a common nuisance and for possessing the drugs and paraphernalia.

38-year-old Rosie M. Jones of North Vernon is being accused of visiting a common nuisance.
