Thrive Alliance offering new meal site on east side of Columbus

Thrive Alliance is opening a new meal site on the east side of Columbus.

According to the non-profit group, the congregate meal site will be available at Bartholomew County Public Library Eastside. That is the former Eastside Community Center at 421 McClure Road.

The meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays, with doors opening at 10 a.m.

The new site started serving meals on Tuesday, but had to cancel yesterday due to a water main break in the area.

Thrive Alliance is the Indiana Agency for Aging for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson and Jennings Counties.
