Troopers say Greensburg drug ring disrupted with arrests

Indiana State Police troopers say that they have made four arrests recently, disrupting a drug distribution ring centered on Greensburg.

According to the Indiana State Police, the investigation began on November 23rd, after troopers received reports of criminal activity going on at an apartment on East Street in Greensburg. Troopers and Greensburg police served a search warrant and discovered suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications, and drug paraphernalia. The investigation revealed that the residents were acquiring and then distributing meth to hundreds of people in Decatur County and throughout southeastern Indiana, police say.

They arrested 53-year-old Ronald D. Lawrence of Greensburg on charges of dealing in and possessing methamphetamine, as well as for possessing marijuana, a controlled substance and a legend drug. 47-year-old Deanna M. Embree is being accused of maintaining a common nuisance, and for possessing methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug araphernalia.
