Two victims bodies recovered from East Fork White River floodwaters

The bodies of two people have been recovered from East Fork White River after they went missing Sunday.

According to Indiana conservation officers, rescue workers had been searching for 21-year-old Kasee Allman and 35-year-old Jesse Brock, both of Bedford, since late Sunday night when they were reported missing. They were discovered in their truck at about noon yesterday, which was submerged in about eight feet of floodwaters in Lawrence County.

Officers said they used cellphone technology, sonar, drones and divers to narrow the large search area.

Also assisting in the search were the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Bono and Marion Township Fire Departments, and IU Health Ambulance Services.
