Two wounded in shooting at Bean Blossom store

Two people are wounded and two are in custody after a shooting over the weekend at the Dollar General store in Bean Blossom.

According to the Brown County sheriff’s Department, few details are being made available yet, while the investigation is ongoing. They said that officers and other emergency personnel were called to the store Saturday afternoon. The two people who were shot were taken to area hospitals.

Deputies say two people are in custody but no charges have been formally filed.
