Volunteer sign ups continue ahead of May 15th Day of Caring
Signups are underway if you would like to volunteer for the United Way of Bartholomew County’s upcoming Day of Caring.
According to the agency, the annual Day of Caring is a full-day volunteer event that connects local businesses and community members with non-profit agencies and organizations. More than 625 volunteers are needed to help organizations that make a positive difference in Bartholomew County.
There will be morning and afternoon shifts, with each shift starting at the United Way Firehouse at 1304 Hutchins Avenue.
In addition to service projects, this year’s event will feature an on-site blood drive.
Volunteers of all ages and skill levels can take part. Organizers encourage groups such as families, teams, and workplace partners to sign up together, as well as individual volunteers.
The Day of Caring is being held on May 15th.
