Bartholomew sheriff swears in newest deputy

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is welcoming its newest deputy.

According to the department, Sheriff Chris Lane swore in Daniel Brenneman this week.

Brenneman is from Shelby County and graduated from Marian University. He has served as a corrections officer in the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department for the past year.
