Seymour looking for your thoughts on city parks, programs

The City of Seymour is looking for your thoughts on the future of the community parks system.

There will be a meeting next week gathering input for the Seymour Parks Master Plan. The five-year master plan is used to guide the department through goals and objectives and is used to identify needs for programming and at parks, as well as needed facility upgrades.

Mayor Matt Nicholson explains:

The city is looking for your thoughts on the parks, including your likes and dislikes, changes or additions, future parks programs and any other suggestions you want to share.

The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 28th at the Seymour Community Center on Chestnut Street. It will be hosted by City Councilman Brad Lucas.
