Flood warning continues for East Fork White River at Seymour

A flood warning is effect for East Fork White River at Seymour. Minor flooding is ongoing and minor flooding is forecast, but the river continues to rise.

The National Weather Service says up to three inches of rain has fallen across the area since Monday

According to flood gauge estimates, the river rose above the 12 foot minor flood stage yesterday morning. This morning it is just a few inches below the 17 foot moderate flood level at 16.23 feet, which may be the crest. The river isn’t expected to drop below the minor flood level again until Saturday morning.

The flood warning is in effect until late Saturday evening.
