Jackson County Severe Weather Spotter Training to be held next week

Jackson County will be hosting an event next week for those interested in helping National Weather Service forecasters spot severe weather.

The storm spotter training session will teach you how to track storms, spot severe weather and help keep the community safe.

Four weather radios will be given away from MidlandRadios USA.

The training session will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7th at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Walnut Street in Seymour.
