Legal fireworks hours outlined for Hope, Seymour

The town of Hope is outlining the hours that it is legal to set off fireworks.

According to the Hope Police Department, under town ordinances you can set them off on July 3rd and July 4th from 9 in the morning to midnight. On Sunday, you can set them off from noon to 10 p.m.

In Seymour, fireworks can be legally set off between 5 p.m. and two hours after sunset today and Friday, then July 5th through the 9th, according to he Seymour Fire Department. On the Fourth of July fireworks can be set off from 10 in the morning until midnight.
