State Road 135 project in Jackson County delayed again

A slide repair project on State Road 135 in Jackson County is being further delayed.

According to INDOT, the project near Freetown was originally set to start on Wednesday and then reschedule to start on Monday, but now it is not expected to start until later this year. The work will be taking place on State Road 135 between State Road 58 and Kiper Creek.

INDOT plans to issue updates when the new schedule is finalized.

Geostabilization International will be the contractor for the project.
