Wind advisory goes into effect Friday
We could be in for a windy day tomorrow.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Friday saying 20 to 30 mph sustained winds from the southwest are expected and up to 50 mph gusts are possible.
They say that the gusty winds will blow around unsecured outdoor objects and would be strong enough to knock down tree limbs and power lines. Driving could be difficult for high profile vehicles. They say that you should be extra cautious if you have to be on the road.
The wind advisory is in effect from 5 a.m. Friday morning to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
